The Mill Street Youth Center project involves transforming a historic building, originally the New Braunfels Academy constructed in 1855, back into a vibrant space for youth as the Mill Youth Center. This project will also include the renovation of the Academy Street Gym to provide expanded recreational opportunities for youth in the New Braunfels community. The New Braunfels Youth Collaborative is creating an engaging and supportive environment for students in grades 6-12, offering a variety of programs that include academic support and much more. Schumann Consulting has collaborated with the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative as their owner representatives. Schumann Consulting has provided management through contractor selection, historic preservation processes, budget management, permitting, and construction management to ensure the successful delivery of this revitalized campus, which will once again serve as a place of learning and growth for future generations.
